SPCC’s Intramural Swim Team is ideal for the youth swimmer aspiring to join a competitive swim team, who may not want to compete, or who may not have the time to commit to a year-around competitive swim program. The purpose of IMST is to build stroke efficiency and endurance, and provide an opportunity to experience the support of teammates and friends through the sport of swimming. Each swimmer will have identified individual goals and will be encouraged to reach their highest potential. Swimmers will be grouped by age as well as ability. Each swimmer must be able to swim 6 lengths of the pool without stopping, and have knowledge of all 4 strokes.
